Is America overmedicated? If you ask most physicians, they probably say no. However, if you ask me, it is a solid yes, and I come from a medical family of doctors and nurses. Putting aside the diabetes epidemic which stems from America’s overindulgence of unhealthy foods, and it is clear we medicate for nearly every complaint imaginable.

Most disturbing is the increasing use of medication to treat anxiety, lack of focus, and depression. I thought we were the best country on the planet, yet many Americans are anxious and depressed. I think this is more of a spiritual problem than a medical problem. If it is spiritual, then it can be fixed with spiritual practices.

I have mentioned through my blogs and books how we are nothing more than energy. That means if psychological issues are present, it can be fixed through certain energetic practices. In fact, there is a whole fledgling industry where energy is used to heal. I am a big fan of these new modalities since I practice and teach Kriya Serpent Yoga which is completely energy work.

The yogis of India have known all about this for thousands of years and have regularly healed people through the use of energy. Further east in China and other countries, energy healing has been a facet of their culture since their earliest beginnings. It is making a comeback here in the west.

Fast forward to two thousand years ago, and a well-known mystic by the name of Yeshua (Jesus) also healed people through energy which is why people in India are big fans of his even if they are not proper Christians. He was a yogi and most likely trained by these wise mystics of India before becoming the Yeshua we all know and love.

Now, before all you Christians get up in arms, you have to ask yourself where did Yeshua’s power come from? Well, if you believe it was from God, then you are right. If you believe it was the Holy Spirit, you are also right. But what does that mean in a practical sense? Well, it means Yeshua was connected spiritually to God through the Holy Spirit and could channel that spirit to do his good works.

So, he used an invisible power to heal others. That invisible power is called energy, because we are all energy. He was very adept at pointing out that this power came from God, or what many call ‘Source’ today. This is all true, which means the Eastern practices of energy work to connect with the Divine is what Yeshua did to access this energy to use in healing others.

People are doing this today, either through practices like Kriya Serpent Yoga, or other methods to energize themselves, connect with the Divine, and use this ‘spirit’ or energy to heal, transform, and speak with the Divine. Yeshua said he would return, and that is also true. He is here now to teach us how to connect with the Divine so we can all access the Holy Spirit. It is in all of us.

Spirituality Rising

There is a reason why spirituality is on the rise. His return, though not incarnate, is through our practices at a time when we most need it. Social unrest, rise in disease, and what looks like a total disregard for the Divine in our lives is why he has returned. His message is simple: connect to the Divine and heal this world.

If you believe in the current Dogma of many Christian churches, then many of you believe you are not worthy of connecting to the Divine. If you believe it, then you are right. However, it isn’t because you are sinner, it is because you are deluded. The yogis have known all about this delusion for thousands of years and have all the techniques to remove the illusion which causes the delusion, freeing people to manifest a connection with their Creator.

Yeshua’s teachings were all about love, compassion for others, and learning to raise others out of their suffering to reach their full potential through God. That has been twisted over the years, creating the delusion which blankets most of the world. I have always said that if you believe you cannot talk with God, then you can’t. It isn’t that God doesn’t want to speak with you, only that you think you cannot.

Buddha said it most appropriately: “What you think is the reality you experience”. Think you can’t speak with the Divine Creator and you will not. This is a paradigm shift for most, and difficult if you truly believe in the delusion, which most people do. Our Creator loves all His creations and would speak to anyone willing to listen. For the new humans manifesting, it seems natural which is why they are traveling down the spiritual path to learn how to do it. For those set in their ways, well, good luck!

This spiritual disconnect is the root cause of most of this world’s problems. We think it, then it happens. We manifest our own problems, and until we learn to un-learn this type of thinking, we are stuck in a rut. This is why Yeshua has returned to teach us the proper thinking and guide us into the new age and evolution of humanity.

It isn’t just Spirituality

God gave us the tools to rescue ourselves from the travails that plague this world, and that includes our health. My practice, Kriya Serpent Yoga, has more benefits than connecting you to the Divine and finding your purpose. I outline those in my first book, The Kriya Serpent Yogi. The energy you tap into through the practice transforms us spiritually and physically. It is healing energy.

I have suffered bi-polar depression most of my life. Yes, at times it was quite debilitating, often driving me to consider suicide every now and again when in the deep pits of depression. I suffered anxiety and depression to the point where it was nearly un-manageable. Yes, I tried the pharmacological route, but it provided some relief at a high cost of unpleasant side-effects, including suicidal ideation. Wait, what? That was what I was trying to get rid of!

I found relief from my anxiety through mental exercises and no longer suffer from that malady. This was even before my spiritual path. So, I knew there were other options besides taking medications. Later, I found relief for my bi-polar depression through natural substances like those found in marijuana. No, I do not take THC and get high! The myriad cannabinoids found in marijuana have been shown to have amazing anti-inflammatory properties and the ability to increase neurochemicals to treat depression without side effects.

Now, I am not saying stop your medications, if you need them, keep taking them. What I am saying is there are other methods, the same methods Yeshua and yogis have been using for thousands of years. We just need to learn them and apply them to our spiritual evolution and physical health. This is the future that is coming for the New Atlantis we build.

My Kriya Serpent Yoga practice has increased my energy levels, decreasing my bi-polar symptoms significantly, and when combined with the natural compounds found in the marijuana plant, I am for all intent and purposes, healed. There is a reason pharmaceutical companies search plants and animals for substances to heal. That is where we are going, back to where we came from using mother nature for our health and healing in conjunction with our own spiritual growth. Shamans and healers have known this going back long before recorded history.

Health in the New Atlantis

In the New Atlantis, we will return to our roots and use nature’s pharmacy to heal and treat maladies. This is in harmony with the world God created for us. He gave us the tools, but we have simply forgotten how to use them. Combining these with a Divine connection to Source, and humanity will prosper within a healthy society free from the ailments we suffer today.

Today, we rely almost solely on pharmaceuticals, but many of them do not heal but only address the symptoms to manage the disease. That is a shame when we know there is another way to true healing. If Yeshua could do it, then we know it is real, just as the yogis know it is real. Unfortunately, with the delusion that envelopes this world, it remains hidden and mysterious. That is changing in preparation for the new world coming.

Healthcare in the USA is a true embarrassment when you consider we are the wealthiest country on the planet. Between for-profit health insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies and hospitals, we are literally profiting off people’s suffering. It is wrong and will be corrected in the future. No more profiting off people’s suffering, it goes against the tenets of Yeshua and God. It is wrong and must be stopped.

In the New Atlantis, all medical insurance and treatment centers will be non-profits like they should be. No one should be profiting off other’s suffering so they can buy new yachts and mansions. If you think that is what God is about, you are truly delusional. We don’t have for-profit police, military or fire departments, so stop for-profit medicine. Allowing greed to be part of healthcare is one of the most egregious crimes against humanity ever perpetrated, and shame on all those involved in that practice.

Nearly all the civilized countries recognize this and have changed in response, giving everyone healthcare they can afford. America has not. The New Atlantis will make that change happen immediately. Not only will everyone receive affordable healthcare, but they will be treated as a whole being rather than just the disease. That means psychological and physical health through spiritual practices, as God intended.

We won’t have hospitals where people go to get their disease treated, we will have healing centers where people go to get cured permanently of all ailments. You may laugh at this but ask your doctor about the relationship between psychological and physical health. We learn more about it every year. You must treat the whole person: Spiritual, Psychological, and Physical. Today, you go to different places to receive these things when it should all be in a single facility.

Combine this paradigm shift with healthier and natural treatment modalities, and you change the world of health dramatically. What about the poor pharmaceutical companies in the future? They will not exist as they do today and certainly will not be for-profit! Healthy societies profit everyone. No sick days, no high insurance costs, and no more worries about whether you will survive, because everyone will be healed.

It will take time to make this shift, but as science unravels the mysteries of energy and its effects on humans, energy will be used to heal along with natural products available today, if you know where to look. The natural medicines available on our planet have been there all along but knowing what and where is the trick. Ask a Shaman or Healer.

But it must be coupled with the spiritual, because that is the whole being, not just our physical bodies, which are mostly energy. Of course, the energy from God can heal but accessing it is the new paradigm we must all learn to become our best self as God intended. Do one without the other and you diminish the benefits.

God is Waiting for You

You want true healing and health, start down your spiritual path now. And no, I do not mean faith, I mean practice. Tangible, real methods to connect you with the Divine Creator and access His energy for your own healing just as Yeshua did. It is very real and will soon be the norm rather than fringe practice. If your faith isn’t healing you, then why do you do it? It takes effort on your part, and God is waiting for you to figure this out.

I am free from the delusion of this false world, and I am happier and healthier than at any time in my adult life. It goes back to the saying, if I knew then what I know now, I would have started my spiritual path long ago. It is not too late for you. This is the what the New Atlantis will bring forth onto this world: God within each of us.

Don’t wait, begin the ancient steps to connect you with your Creator. You will be healed.
