Pre-Diluvian

I want to tell you a story. Long ago, humanity climbed out of the trees and began to explore the world that was fraught with dangers but contained far more food sources than within the trees. In this new world, they hunted, developing simple tools to assist them.

Soon, they were foraging far and wide, eating more varied foods, many with higher fat content as they began to eat other animals. This began a series of evolutionary changes, the most significant an increase in brain capacity. These early hominids were moving up the food chain and enjoying the benefits of a richer diet.

Somewhere along the line, something significant happened and the brain size of these early hominids increased dramatically, giving them an edge over the harsh world they inherited from the dinosaurs. Modern humans came into existence, and the face of the planet was changed forever. Was it mere evolution or was there a hand at play in this sudden evolutionary leap forward?

The planet went through many cycles, the most severe being the ice age which brought glacial ice down from the poles across much of the planet’s landmass. Africa, and similar landmasses circling the equatorial latitudes, became the premium land available for life as the glaciers continued their march towards the equator. This was the antediluvian world.

With so much ice, ocean levels were much lower than today as the planet’s fresh water was locked up in the glacial ice. The coastlines of this distant history were far different from the coastlines of today. Imagine a world where the oceans were 400 feet lower than they are today. It would look vastly different than the world we currently know.

During this period, civilizations arose from the early humans of this vastly different world. Like most of the civilizations of today, they huddled around the coastlines, enjoying the bounties of the oceans. Some of these civilizations developed great technology, building megalithic structures to use as spiritual centers of study or seats of local governance. They flourished for thousands of years, a land before time, at least based on the time we currently believe.

Somewhere around 12,800 years ago, a massive bombardment of comets pelted the earth with fire and devastation. These rogue remnants rained havoc on our planet for years as earth traveled its annual journey around the sun, continuously crossing into the debris field, causing untold devastation on our planet. This was a real-world apocalypse, and those who were there at that time, likely didn’t survive. This time in geologic history is known as the Younger Dryas period.

The bombardment may have lasted several thousands of years with varying degrees of destruction as the debris continued to rain down. The polar ice, covering much of the northern and southern hemispheres, flash melted from this deluge of fire, causing a massive flood that overwhelmed the planet and changed the coastal lines forever when ocean levels rose 400 feet from the once trapped water in the glaciers.

The coastal civilizations were devastated, millions of souls extinguished in an extraordinary cataclysmic series of events. Humans were scattered into the remaining landmasses, new lands opening up as the glaciers retreated back to the Arctic and Antarctic regions. A new world was being created, and the refugees from this great flood were left to start again, thrown back into the stone age.

Some 6,000 years ago, the historical record began to be remade from the ashes of these ancient civilizations, many of them now resting underneath the waves. With their lost cities and populations, much of their technology had been destroyed, or was lost as the knowledge died with so many.

It is easy to imagine where we would be should such a cataclysm befall us once again. We would surely be thrown back into the stone age, much of our civilization wiped clean from the planet as though it never existed. The new humans who survive that next cataclysm will surely arise in ignorance of that which had come before. Only mythological stories would suggest there had been a “before”.

And such it is for our world. Humans have arisen and fallen, only to arise again, ignorant of the former generations which had succumbed to the natural cataclysms. This is not myth, but the emerging story of humanity that is rewriting history forever.

Nearly every great society around the world has a “flood” myth. It is written in the Bible and so many other ancient histories. The megalithic sites which remain a continuous mystery to us, sites we cannot construct today with all our sophisticated technology, litter nearly every part of this planet, many underwater as though they were sunk or suffered an enormous rise in ocean levels.

In fact, geologists have found the evidence of this great flood which occurred nearly 12,800 years ago and have linked it to a surge in planetary bombardment, thankfully less severe than that which killed the dinosaurs. Nonetheless, it was severe enough to wipe out most human civilizations while sending the survivors scrambling to make it in the new world being created.

The annals of the ancients talk about this great flood and the destruction of the civilizations that had once thrived on our world. They talk about amazing cities filled with incredible technology; some we still don’t have today. Plato talked about Atlantis, a technological wonder that “sank” beneath the waves.

More than likely, this great civilization was flooded as the oceans rose 400 feet. I am not a historian, nor am I a geologist, but I believe this story because the evidence is everywhere. The very notion that people who lived in small groups and foraged off the land built these ancient megalithic sites with nothing more than rock and mud insults the intelligence of us all.

There is an unknown human history which was wiped away by the great deluge, and we are just now uncovering its secrets. The Sumerians, Babylonians, Indians and Egyptians talk about this early time of humanity in their historical accounts, yet most academicians discount it as nothing more than mythology. They cling to their flawed narratives like the people who survived the flood by clinging to whatever they could.

It is real, and much will soon be revealed. Who were these ancient humans? Where did they get their vast technological know-how? Who were the gods they speak about in their ancient stories? Was it extraterrestrials who were interacting with these ancient peoples? Where did they go? What role did they play in saving humanity and helping it rebuild? Will another cataclysm throw us back into the stone age again?

Understanding these questions and uncovering the truth of our evolution is primary to understanding our future. While I know a lot about certain visitors to earth, I am not privy to this ancient history which has been nearly removed from the archeological record. It is time to resurface it all, and question everything we thought we knew. The first question should be, can it happen again?

I strongly suggest you watch the featured video for this post, even if you have to pay for it. This is critical information about our species at a time when we are nearing another great shift in our evolution. Navigating these complexities could benefit from hindsight. Though I know we are not alone, the question remains how their presence impacted our past and how it will impact our future!

Peace Profound
