One of the most interesting things about esotericism is the concept of manifesting or magick. I am not talking about illusions created for our entertainment in Las Vegas but actual manifestations which to those outside of the mystical arts is magick. We use the ‘k’ at the end of magick to differentiate it from the magic of the magicians in Las Vegas.

At the very primal level of the mystical arts is energy. Yes, energy, that physical thing we learned about in science class. In particular, we learned about the Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) which is essentially light. Each aspect of the spectrum represents a specific frequency of the light.

If you dig further, you will discover that light can be both a particle and a wave. In wave form, it has a specific frequency, thus very specific properties associated with it. We are all familiar with visible light; the light we detect with our eyes that gives us colors. Well, your science teacher probably told you it was a very small slice of the EMS, and it is. That alone should give you pause.

Why? Well, the EMS is a very broad spectrum, and thus the properties of each slice must also be quite broad. This simple particle, or wave, is a significant aspect of our Universe. Some might actually say, it is the fundamental energy that fuels our Universe. And it is, but here is the caveat. The visible, or detectable Universe is only 20% of the actual Universe. Hmmmm. What is the rest of the Universe made of?

Enter the physicists who coined two terms for this invisible 80%: Dark Matter and Dark Energy. Interesting. So, our Universe is made up of some stuff that is both visible and invisible energy and matter? I don’t know about you, but WTF?

As it turns out, there is really nothing very tangible within our 20% Universe. In fact, the vast majority we know of in the visible Universe is comprised of the simplest atom, hydrogen. Within any given atom, there is something like 99.9999999999996% empty space. Take into account that most now consider protons, electrons, and neutrons not actual particles but vibrational entities whose frequency determines which particle it is, and well, I hope you can see where this is going.

Let’s boil this down. Each particle is likely a vibrational entity that has a frequency that determines which particle it is. Light is the same thing. And there is almost nothing but empty space within each atom, and we are made from atoms, well then, we can conclude that we are mostly empty space and vibrations. Let that truly sink in for a moment.

Now add to that another 80% of the Universe which we cannot see or truly measure except for its gravitational effects, and you begin to understand why mysticism is all about energy and frequencies. In fact, there is a study of frequencies within classical mysticism called Vibraturgy. Hmmmm.

Now, let’s assume dark matter and dark energy are also just frequencies that we cannot detect through our ordinary senses. Then, there is a vast quantity of frequencies which have an impact on our reality that we know little to nothing about. But wait, isn’t that what traditional religions and mysticism have been telling us for thousands of years? They have said there are invisible energies that affect our world and our reality, and now physicists are saying the same thing.

This is a lot to take in. I am certainly no physicist, but my background is in engineering, and I have actually studied a fair amount about physics. All of this is to say that all the known (20%) and unknown (80%) of our Universe is nothing more than intangible vibrational energy, the very thing mystics have been saying for a long time.

This makes our Universe some sort of hologram, or an illusion, if you will. We perceive objects that seem to have substance and shape, but they are mostly empty space and energetic frequencies. If that is not an illusion, I really don’t know what is.

So, how does this relate to magick? Well, follow this train of thought and see what I am talking about. Everything is energy and vibration, including us. If you take for one moment the fact that our consciousness is not actually resident in our bodies, and science has kind of proven that based on very measurable things, then it too must be all energy outside the physical plane, or outside our bodies.

Take near death experiences or NDEs as an example. Science is very confused because the classical model of consciousness stated that the brain was the center of this consciousness, yet it does not appear to be the case. With NDEs, people have experienced out of body events where they could observe themselves dying and the people around them attempting to save them. For some, the details they recount later are quite astonishing considering they had absolutely no brain function.

We even have examples of people with virtually little to no physical brains who are outwardly normal with normal IQs. How is this possible if the brain is the seat of consciousness? This is a big topic, and I cannot cover it all here. Suffice it to say, consciousness does not exist in our intangible energy bodies within this physical plane of reality.

In mysticism, we call this consciousness the Soul. We believe it resides within another dimension outside our 3rd dimension, but that it projects into our 3rd dimension manifesting our physical forms, which are again, essentially just energy. The Soul is an eternal energy which projects energy into the 3rd dimension to manifest our intangible, yet physical forms.

Let me say that again. The Soul is an eternal energy which projects energy into the 3rd dimension to manifest our intangible, yet physical forms. Isn’t that magick? So, let’s carry this forward. If the Soul can manifest a physical form of our bodies in the physical plane, then it should be able to manifest any physical thing within our physical plane, assuming it knows how.

This is where you come in. You are a combination of your Soul and your Ego. We have established your Soul is just eternal energy. Your Ego, on the other hand, is the ‘you’ that you believe you are. It is the mind that is created through all your experiences from womb to tomb. It is how you perceive the world, interact with it, and live within it. It is the “believer” of the illusion which we now know is mostly an intangible, or holographic Universe.

In the Bible, Jesus once said, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” I would put that in new terms and say that if you truly had control of a tiny piece of your Soul, you could move mountains. After all, your Soul is nothing but energy projecting into this physical plane manifesting your body.

However, the Ego will not let you access that small piece of your Soul. It does not believe in it, as it was conditioned not to through the world you live in and believe in. The illusion is all your Ego believes in. It does not believe in a Soul manifesting this existence. It does not believe in the intangible Universe that you live within because its physical senses have constructed the Universe you see and touch, which we have now learned is really just a projected hologram.

In my books, I reference the Matrix movies because the world they all lived within was also an illusion. It was an illusion created by the machines who tricked their brains into thinking things were real while they were actually in a tube being used as a battery. Now, I am not saying the Matrix is real, but the parallels are right there, and those movies outline many themes around how one deals with this new information you just came to understand. Watch them and then think about the reality I have presented to you.

Now, back to magick. In the study of Vibraturgy, it is put forth that all things are products of energies interacting with one another, and that directed energy can impact physical reality. Now we are cooking with fire! Magick is essentially unlocking the vibrational codes of the Universe. If changing the frequency of a particle changes which particle it is, then anything that can change the frequency is an alchemical process that will transform matter.

And there is the crux of magick, it is the modification of energy frequencies to affect matter. It is your Soul or consciousness that can make this happen thus creating the magick I am talking about. This is advanced Soul work, and most are still so locked within the delusional Universe that they cannot for one second believe or entertain this simple and logical notion. This is why they can’t consciously affect matter because they believe they can’t. Jesus was basically saying the same thing.

Within the next century, we will begin to master this alchemical process through technology, but for now, it is within the domain of the mystics. They understand that you manifest your own reality, whether consciously or unconsciously. Don’t like your reality, then manifest something else. Buddha spelled this out quite clearly.

Mystics know this and train people to achieve higher states of consciousness, thus accessing the power of their Souls to modify the vibrational frequencies of matter and manifest in the physical plane. Unfortunately, most do not have access to that tiny mustard seed needed to move mountains, but you get the idea.

Science actually backs up this very notion of consciousness-matter interactions. When a particle has an observer, their consciousness can actually change the form from particle to wave. It has been shown that the observer can have a significant impact on experiments. It is another factor they take into account when designing certain experiments lest the observer set in motion the actions which might produce the observer’s intended results.

Yes, it can be very confusing. You see, we are all just intelligent energy swimming through a sea of energy, so our intentions have an impact on that sea of energy through the emanation of specific frequencies which our Souls can produce. Once we learn to manipulate that energy, we can manipulate the observable “matter” which is itself just energy and frequencies.

Does your head hurt? I am truly sorry, but you can no longer live in the illusion because the world needs you to save humanity and our planet. But until you unchain yourself from this anchor we call reality, you will never be free to manifest or do magick. Now I understand most people do not want to be free. They like the matrix, and I must admit, what is not to like?

I love life, but I want it to continue and evolve into something even greater. For those of you who really care about life and its evolution, you must unshackle yourself and help manifest the change we need in this world. It won’t hurt you or the world, but it will lift yours and the world’s vibrational energy, transforming both into something new and beautiful. That is the inherent nature of the Universe, to evolve upward. You now understand it is all energy, and that consciousness, which is also energy, can change physical energy to transform it. Your consciousness! That is true magick.

Now, before I go, I must address something too many people have struggled with or completely do not understand. There are higher consciousnesses, and in fact there is One Consciousness that manifested everything we see in this dimension and all other dimensions. But that is for another blog where I will talk about the Divine consciousness. For now, know that magick is real, and you have the power to manifest it.
